Nicki BeekmanNicki Beekman has
always been motivated by working with other people to help them achieve their
goals. By the age of 15 she was an
accomplished equestrian and the youngest Advanced Level Certified Riding
Instructor to have graduated from
a PA State College-Level accredited equestrian program. As accomplished as Nicki was as an Event Rider and Trainer it was the thrill of coaching
and training others that Nicki loved the most.
After a back injury interrupted her equestrian career Nicki turned her attention to college and settled on a dual degree in Women’s Studies and Business Communications. The initial years after college were spent in Retail/Wholesale Women's Apparel, Manhattan's Garment District and managing a territory spanning several states. Eventually Nicki settled into a 18 year career in special event fundraising.
Here again Nicki found
herself in the role of coach and trainer.
Now the focus was on teaching and training Executive Directors, Board
Members and Volunteers on the principles of art auction fundraising,
donor-development, goal setting, event planning and marketing.
Nicki started to
actively engage in Business-Networking and Referral-Marketing early in 2004 as
a way to expand her business-network across the US. It was very apparent to
Nicki that the cold-calling formula that had worked so well in her industry was
not working like it used to and she was looking for better ways to gain new
business. Networking worked.
In 2007, Nicki joined
EWI Philadelphia. For over 70 years,
Executive Women International has been a leader in business networking and has
gained itself a reputation for being a powerful organization for entrepreneurs,
business executives and industry leaders. Nicki joined EWI to network art
auctions across the country. While
doing that she also began to envision her own company.

EWI. I learned the real value of networking and began to understand that
not every business-owner or professional has the same experience, time or
resources available to them to network and build referral relationships. I
kept asking myself - What if there was a company that provided Referral-Network
Planning, Marketing & Management to other businesses?”
